Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryGEORGE ALAN HOLT November 11, 1934 November 2, 2017 It is with great sadness that the family of George Alan Holt, of Petersfield, MB, announce his passing. On Thursday, November 2, 2017 at the Selkirk Regional Hospital, with his son and niece by his side, Alan lost his third battle with cancer, just days short of his 83rd birthday. Alan leaves behind his sons, Mark (Pearl), Greg (Tina); grandchildren, Stephen, Robert, Brittany, Justin and Kaytlyn; brother Ted (Ruth); sister Ann; sister-in-law Peggy; special friend Irene, along with all his wonderful nieces and nephews. Alan is predeceased by his parents; sister Helen; and brothers, Tom and Jim; sister-in-law Edna; and brother-in-law Ken. Special thanks to all the family and friends who found the time to visit Al during his short stay in the hospital. Respecting Alan's wishes, there will be no funeral service. Cremation has taken place with interment to follow at a later date, where his ashes will be laid with his parents in Stonewall, MB. In care of arrangements

Some my fondest childhood memories include spending so much time with our whole Holt family celebrating many special occasions. I remember those days just like it was yesterday. I especially loved when my dad and uncle Al would get their guitars out and spend the evening playing and singing! Uncle Al will always hold a warm place in my heart.
