Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryBETTY LILLIAN MURRAY Peacefully on November 3, 2017, our beloved Mom, Betty Murray (nee MacKenzie), passed away at Bethania Personal Care Home with her daughters by her side. Betty was predeceased by her husband Jim; her parents James and Mary; her siblings Cathy (Crawford), Ken (Louise), Chrissie (Dave), Mary (Ross), Jean (Ron) and Ian. She is survived by her brother Jim (Janet) who describes his sister Betty as the kindest person you could ever know. Left to cherish her memory are her two daughters Mary and Janet (Grant Wilson); her much loved grandchildren Ryan, Kristin, Shannon (Jesse Putter), Angela, Bonnie (Stephen Mitchell) and David. And her delightful great-grandchildren Mia, Carter, Maddox, Reese and Connor. Betty will be fondly remembered for her tenderness, love, passion for what's right, lightning-quick wit and her laugh. The family would like to thank Patty Doerksen for her friendship, compassion and spiritual care given to Betty during her time at Bethania. The family would also like to thank the staff at Bethania Personal Care Home for the care and laughter you gave to Betty. A huge thank you to the many people that, over the years, loved, supported and prayed for Betty and her family. A celebration of life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, November 24, 2017, at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Avenue, Winnipeg, MB.
