Condolences & Memories (7 entries)

  • It is with great sadness to learn of the passing of Bruce. Our sincerest condolences go to Christine and family and friends that will miss him. I knew Bruce when we were in Y's Men service club together and also in the electrical industry. Bruce always had a great attitude and was a hard working individual. Our best wishes to the family. • It is with a great deal of sadness that I pass along my condolences to Christine and the entire Woodward family. I had the great fortune of working for Bruce at Tri-Power for over a decade and am very thankful for all the fond memories, the laughs, the lessons and guidance Bruce provided me in my career. Bruce had a unique manor in which he was always able to let optimism and his internal energy rule over even the most daunting of challenges. Bruce, we will all miss you and I wish to thank you for your guidance, sharing your wisdom, your sense of determination and passion for all that drove you to become the respected man we all knew. • Bruce coached our son Scott when he & Pete played roller hockey together. Those were the best days as Bruce was so wonderful with those boys. He taught them all so much through his knowledge, generosity & respect for each other. He was awe-inspiring! Our hearts are broken for the family at this huge loss. We pray that all your wonderful memories of Bruce will sustain you in the coming days. God Bless. Larry, Susan & Scott Wagner - Posted by: Susan Wagner (Friend) on: Nov 21, 2017

  • On vacation with Bruce and Christine and family, we had lots of fun. Bruce was always the joker making everyone laugh. Bruce and Barry spent a lot of time together at hockey with the kids and they formed a friendship from there. He will be sorely missed by our family and all who knew him. We will cherish all the fond memories and we pass on our condolences to the family. - Posted by: Karen and Barry Schreyer (friends) on: Nov 19, 2017

  • We met Bruce & Christine through Carmela & Kevin Cymbaluk, he was always fun to be around, he was friendly, generous, always had a smile for you & was a great host, one summer night at their cottage enjoying their company he pulled out frozen jujubes after dinner, an instant hit with our family, we adopted that practice shortly after that night & will continue in his memory, he was a great man & will be sorely missed... Sincerest condolences, Douglas Family - Posted by: Douglas Family (Friends) on: Nov 16, 2017

  • We went to Miles Mac with Bruce. He was also one of our groomsman for our wedding. The beautiful cukoo clock they gave us is still hanging on our wall. • It is with a heavy heart that I wish to pass on my condolences to your family and am so sorry for your loss. I worked with Bruce in the industry and he was an exemplary electrician and mentor to so many. His smile and laugh was contagious and would light up any room he was in. We are better for having known him. Although no words can really help to ease the pain, our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Hold tight to memories for comfort, lean on your friends for strength, and always remember how much you are cared about him. Sincerely John Nunes - Posted by: John Nunes (Co-worker) on: Nov 15, 2017
