Condolences & Memories (4 entries)

  • Gord and I were as thick as thieves in our teenage years. We played a lot of tennis at River Heights Community Center one summer, meeting at the court around 8:30 in the morning and playing until dusk. Gord had a wicked serve to which he added a slice so the ball would peal off after hitting the court which made it difficult to return. We could beat any doubles teams of any age in the neighbourhood that came to challenge us. I can remember hanging out in Gord's parents basement listening to his sister's Mamas and Papas LPs. Great years for sure. Great friend with whom to go through the teenage years. So sorry that his journey ended the way it did. He always had the fight in his heart. Our heart felt condolences to the family. John and Kim Little - Posted by: John and Kim Little (Friend from teenage years in Winnipeg and groomsman at Gord's and Candace's wedding) on: Nov 18, 2017
