CORLISS ANTONIO
Date of Passing: Nov 06, 2017
Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryCORLISS ANTONIO (nee McCOY) Our dear Corliss - wife, mother, grandmother, sister, friend, and now our angel, passed away on Monday, November 6, 2017, with family by her side. Left to lovingly remember Corliss are her husband of 50 years, Robert; her daughters Cassia (Mike Silva) and Hayley; grandchildren, Peyton, McCoy and Avalina. She also leaves behind her brother Don (Dianne) McCoy, sister-in-law Carroll (Ron) Stucky, Dell-Anne (Dale) Gowler-Wilson, many more family, as well as countless friends. Corliss was a wonderful person who showed love to everyone she came into contact with. She was caring and beautiful, inside and out. She loved life, her family, and her friends. She was lucky enough to travel the world. She then became a snowbird after retirement and enjoyed Mexico, then Mesa, Arizona for many years. She enjoyed getting away from the cold but hated leaving the grandkids. She raised two daughters, Cassia and Hayley, to be strong women, just as she was. She shared a wonderful 50 years of marriage with the love of her life - her best friend Robert. And the most magical love of all was shared proudly for her grandchildren -Peyton, McCoy and Avalina. You are forever in our hearts. Know that you will never be forgotten. You have taught us how to live life fully, passionately, bravely and courageously, just like you lived yours. You are so dearly missed, more and more as time will go on. We will always remember you as SIMPLY THE BEST. You are the best wife, mom, nana, and friend. The best ever laughters were the ones shared with you. The best ever food, was made by you. The best ever car shows, were the ones we came to see you at. The best ever camping, vacations and family gatherings were with you. The best ever sleepovers the grandkids ever had were with you. And the best ever hugs and kisses were from you. Now the purest and most beautiful angel is simply YOU. Thank you to Dr. Nashed and Dr. Harris as well as all of her staff at Concordia Hospital for their amazing care and concern until the end. And a special thank you goes out to two very dear friends of hers that were remarkable with their helping hands, the countless meals brought, the support, encouragement, and love you gave her. Gloria and Louise - we can never thank you enough for all the love you gave both Mom and us. As per Corliss's wishes, cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will take place in the summertime. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation. Not a day will go by without thinking of you. We love you always and forever. H.O.L.L.A.N.D.

I met this lovely lady in 1971 when I got a job at Wilson auto electric. She always had a radiant smile that totally lit up the room she was a sweet compassionate lady that really cared about other people and would go out of her way to help anyone who needed help she will be sadly missed on earth but she is in heaven reuniting with all her friends and loved ones waiting for us when we are called to be with her. God will give strength to us all by just rememembering, her as an angel on earth returning to an angel in heaven. - Posted by: ed raposo (ex wilson auto electric employee) on: Nov 08, 2020

Bob, Cassia and Hayley and family, My heart is so heavy to hear this news. Words cannot express how very sad I am. I carry such wonderful memories in my heart of your beautiful Mom and wife and I know all the memories you have tucked inside your hearts will bring you peace. She was always so very very kind to me, and such a positive and cheerful person to be around. She always made you feel like you were a superstar. What a wonderful influence to have while I was growing up. I have her cookie recipe that she gave me. She titled it "Antonio's Best Ever Babysitter's Favourite Cookies". She would bake them before I came over to babysat the girls knowing how much I loved them. I will bake them tonight, add some tears and remember her most lovely spirit. Sending so much love to all of you. Barbara and Family xoxoxoxo - Posted by: Barbara Gehring (Babysitter and Friend) on: Dec 06, 2017

Bob, Cass, Haley and family, How saddened I was to hear of Cor's passing. The picture above does not do her justice. She was a beautiful soul inside and out with never a harsh word for anyone. I was so glad I got to see her and you Bob at Jesse and Heather's wedding. Although it had been awhile since we had seen each other, it was like no time had passed at all. I challenge anyone to find two people more in love and devoted to each other then you two. Although your hearts are breaking at the loss of dear Cor, find comfort in the beautiful memories you all have shared through the years. Rest easy in the arms of the angels dear Corliss, you suffer no more. - Posted by: Kathy Ewatski-Foret (family friend ) on: Nov 18, 2017
