Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryELIZABETH (BETTY) LOUISE LAWRENCE On the morning of Friday, November 3, 2017, Elizabeth (Betty) Louise Lawrence passed away peacefully in her sleep at Picton Memorial Hospital. Betty's husband Robert and son David were at her bedside. Betty succumbed to cancer despite her tremendous strength. Betty and Bob were grateful for the constant prayers of the parish during her illness. The family extends special thanks to our many friends and neighbours who provided help and support. Betty is sorely missed by her loving husband Robert; son David (Jill); brothers, Waldi (Joyce) Wawrykow and Micheal (Colleen) Wawrykow; sisters, Margy Wawrykow and Marion Korolyk, along with many friends and family across Canada. Betty was an avid gardener, energetic runner/cyclist and enthusiastic and blue-ribbon winning photographer. She was also a devoted wife and mother with endless energy and a generous spirit. Betty was an active member of Gregory the Great in Picton. Born in Gimli, Manitoba to Dan Wawrykow and Mary Hrynyshyn, Betty graduated from Gimli High School, worked as an office professional in Winnipeg and took on the role of a military spouse, traveling extensively overseas and across Canada before settling in Wellington, Ontario. Funeral services were held on November 10 in Picton, Ontario. In recognition of Betty's kindness to needy people, please consider a donation to Siloam Mission, 300 Princess St., Winnipeg, MB R3B 1M3.
