FAYE PACKER (nee BUTOVSKY) September 10, 1916 - November 26, 2017 We announce, with heavy hearts, the peaceful passing of our mother and baba, Faye Packer, on November 26, 2017, at the age of 101. She was predeceased by her husband, Irving, and survived by her daughters, Eileen Buchalter (Les Korsunsky) and Sharon Vinsky (Morley), and their families. A service will be held on Wednesday, November 29, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Etz Chayim Synagogue. The family extends their heartfelt thanks to the staff at The Simkin Centre.

  • Carol and I are saddened by the passing of Cousin Fay. We have fond memories of being with her and Irving in Winnipeg for Debbie and Kevin's wedding. It was Fay and Irving that reached out to us at the beginning of our family search and helped bring the extended family together. We owe much to them for sharing stories and family history and making us feel part of the Winnipeg branch of the family. She will be remembered as a sweet, loving, giving person.
