SYLVIA BRONSTEIN June 9, 1927 - October 9, 2017 It is with deep sadness that the family of Sylvia Bronstein announces her passing, after a brief illness, on October 9, 2017 at the age of 90. She was predeceased by her husband Allan, sister Muriel Morgan, and parents Morris and Elizabeth Levant. She will be lovingly remembered by her sons Danny and Wayne (Tina); grandchildren Shaun (Talia), Lauren (Noam) and Erin; great-grandchildren Oren and Raya; Shaun and Lauren's mother Miriam Bronstein; as well as family and friends. Sylvia was a gentle soul who touched the lives of everybody who knew her. After the untimely passing of her husband in 1987, Sylvia devoted her life to her family. She spent as much time as possible with them and took great pride in their accomplishments. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. The funeral, officiated by Cantor Tracy Kasner Greaves, was held at Etz Chayim Synagogue on October 11, 2017. Interment was at Bnay Abraham Cemetery. Honorary pallbearers were Sidney Schwartzman and Dr. Marvin Kohn. Active pallbearers were Shaun Bronstein, Dr. Noam Katz, Dr. Carey Boroditsky, Dr. Marty Greenfeld, Dr. Steven Schipper and Don Katz. Special thanks to Harriet and Carey Boroditsky, Gerry and Marilyn Mallin, and Connie Oughton for their support and assistance.
