Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryADAM LAPITSKY It is with deepest sorrow that we announce the peaceful passing of Adam Lapitsky on November 25, 2017. Adam was predeceased by his parents Mary and Nick Lapitsky; brothers Mike Cassick and wife Annette and Andy Lapitsky; sisters Anne Siwicki and husband Nick, Lena Solomon and husband Andy, Eva Wishnevetski and husband Mike and Nellie Cottes and husband Tony; brother-in-law Boris Jacuta, and long time friend Mary Pasetka. He is survived by his sisters Mary Jacuta, Kay (Tony) Lubiniecki, and numerous nieces and nephews. Adam was born on January 8, 1929 in Sheho, Saskatchewan. He left school at an early age to work on a farm. Adam moved to Winnipeg where he was employed in the service industry until he retired from the Elmwood Legion #9. Adam was fiercely independent and had a wicked sense of humour. He loved to sit and watch people and birds and was often seen sitting outside his apartment or in Tim Horton's doing just that. Adam was cremated and will be buried with his mom and dad on Saturday, December 9, 2017 in Kamsack, Saskatchewan. Funeral services will be at St. Josaphat's Ukrainian Catholic Church at 10:30 a.m. The family would like to thank Adam's friends and neighbours at Columbus Villa and the caring staff at Concordia Hospital. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer Society of Manitoba.
