My sympathies to Linda, Trevor and Mike. 74 years is just too young to pass away, even though dad was younger. I was 21 when my parents purchased the cottage next door to George and Linda in 1982. I saw George and Linda almost every weekend or other weekend at the Lake. George was one of the nicest people I have met. My best and recurring memory of George was his comment "Are you relaxing yet?" as Steve and I helped dad to shovel sand, mow the grass, paint the cottage ... etc. Jim and family - Posted by: Jim Purcha (Friend of the Family (Eleanor Lake)) on: Dec 17, 2017

My most sincere condolences to Linda and family. George and I were cross street neighbors and engaged in the usual childhood hijinks and later, those of early "adulthood". We did have fun through it all ..those memories will live on. Thanks George !! - Posted by: Sid Selver (Friend) on: Dec 11, 2017

Sad that I only met George twice. It was back in the late 50's but I can still remember he and Lois venturing down our way. Our condolences to Linda and the family. Dave and Ginny Eastaugh, Brooklin, Ontario - Posted by: Dave Eastaugh (Cousin) on: Dec 06, 2017

Vin, Molly, Lois and George made many visits to our farm near Emerson. George was 11 years older than me and I followed him around most everywhere he went on those visits. He liked to hunt and I would tag along. For Christmas when I was about 6 or 7 he bought me a toy rifle. My condolences to Linda and family, Kathy (Schultz) Dunsmore. - Posted by: Kathy Schultz Dunsmore (Cousin) on: Dec 02, 2017
