MURIEL (MERLE) FYFE (MCLEAN)
Born: Dec 23, 1949
Date of Passing: Nov 15, 2017
Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMURIEL (MERLE) FYFE (nee MCLEAN) December 23, 1949 - November 15, 2017 Peacefully with her family by her side Merle passed away at the Middlechurch Home after her courageous battle with Dementia. She leaves behind her loving husband of 50 years Bryon Fyfe and her three children, daughter Tracy (John), Amanda and Alexandera Francis, daughter April (Mitch) Julian and Allison Bertrand, and son Derek (Jennifer), Connor, Harrison and Avery Fyfe; along with her special cousin, the sister she never had Lucy Kuly. Family was everything to Merle with her grandchildren bringing so much joy to her life; she was by far their biggest cheerleader at all their events. Merle enjoyed traveling, making many memories with a trip to Europe with April to promote ringette, trips with friends to Mexico, and many roads traveled with her loving husband Bryon to Phoenix, the Badlands, Banff, Jasper and Niagara Falls. To pass the time Merle would knit, although we fondly referred to it as "knit and rip" because by the time they had reached their destination she had ripped out the knitting because she had dropped a stitch. Working full time for TD bank for many years, Merle did not have a lot of free time, but in that time she volunteered with our local community center for many years, as well was a member of the Seven Oaks Raiders association for a few years. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to all the wonderful staff at Middlechurch for the care they provided Merle over the years. In leui of flowers friends if so desire can make a donation in memory of Merle to the Alzheimer Society. A funeral service will be held for Merle on December 7, 2017 at 7:00 p.m. at St. Theresa Church, 3597 Main Street, West St. Paul.

We have fond memories of Merle (our city cousin) who would visit us on the farm. Merle always attended the family events with her husband Bryan. We are grateful for the times we had together. Our deepest sympathies to Bryan and the family. - Posted by: Paul and Elvier Brunel (Cousin) on: Dec 02, 2017
