Condolences & Memories (7 entries)

  • I have a lot of great memories of my friendship with Brian...gymnastic tumbling rallies, track meets & choir performances at Margaret Park Elementary School. Fort building at Adventure playground & hanging out at Vince Leah Community Center. Volleyball & basketball tournaments & band concerts at Edmund Partridge Junior High. More tournaments & lots of fun at West K ending with his incredible Valedictorian speech & an awesome weekend of grad camping at his cottage at Spruce Sands! Our friendship continued while reminiscing & catching up during my dental appointments where Brian took such great care of both myself & Sydney. You will be missed Brian, I hope you are finally at peace. Donna Kelly - Posted by: Donna Kelly (Friend) on: Dec 20, 2017

  • Brian was a loyal friend, one of the hardest working soccer players I have ever had the honor of playing with, and during our athletic and high school years, and as teenagers growing up, he was always our voice of reason that may have kept us out of trouble on many occasions. Even though I lost touch with Brian after graduation, I would occasionally hear how he was doing through friends, which their comments would always be that he was doing great and that he was the success that we all knew he would be. I considered Brian to be a loyal, serious, smart, and focused person, but he always knew how to let loose and have fun with many of his closest friends. These are memories that I will always remember forever. Rest in peace Brian and my condolences to his family. - Posted by: Bill Parise (aka) Lezubski (Friend) on: Dec 11, 2017

  • Brian was a kind, positive gentleman. I knew him all throughout school and he was just one of those folks that you could feel safe with and feel good about knowing. i moved away from Winnipeg right after high school and did not see Brian again.....but I never, ever forgot his kindness or his beautiful smile. - Posted by: jill degner (school friend) on: Dec 08, 2017

  • We have been fortunate to have had Brian as our neighbour. He was the first person to welcome us to the area. He was a good friend to us and would visit on the odd occasion. We will greatly miss him. Our deepest condolences to Brian's family and friends. - Posted by: Denise and Leonard Landry (friend and neighbour) on: Dec 06, 2017

  • I still vividly remember the day Brian and our friend Bohdan went for a ride in my brand new Civic Si and someone hit us on the Chief Peguis Trail one hour after I drove it new off the lot...Brian and Bohdan both tried hard to calm me down. Plus Brian was always willing to do some emergency dental work on a weekend, which is rare for a dentist. I also remember him as a pretty good poker player to boot. He often gave me sound advice. He will be missed. Rest in peace. - Posted by: Michael Baron (Friend) on: Dec 04, 2017

  • I was fortunate enough to know Brian as we worked side by side for several years at Matheson Dental. I can not say enough about this man. He was not only my boss at work but my friend there as well. I never felt as though I was going to work but rather spending time with my extended family. He was an amazing dentist who always treated his patients with such care. Thank you for being the best employer I could’ve asked for and for all the memories. May you rest in peace now Brian. My deepest condolences to Brian’s family and friends. Thinking of you, wishing you hope in the midst of sorrow and comfort in the midst of pain.
