JACK YABLONSKI Jack Yablonski passed away peacefully on November 30, 2017, at the age of 72, surrounded by his family, at the Health Sciences Centre in Winnipeg. He was born in Dennis Lake, Manitoba on October 7, 1945. He spent his life in the Fraserwood area where he went to school, met the love of his life, Carol, and raised their family. Jack started Armstrong Construction, with the purchase of a tandem truck, and built it with his wife and sons to the successful business it is today. He was a devoted Catholic and very active in the Knights of Columbus. Family, friends and community were very important to him. His hobbies included hunting, building and flying model airplanes, fishing, cars, riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle and travelling with Carol and their friends. In the last years he enjoyed spending winters in their house in Mesa, Arizona. He was predeceased by his parents John and Jean, and sister Anna Yablonski. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Carol; sons Jason (Kim), Jeff (Bridget) and Justin (Brandy); grandchildren Phoenix, Ryan, Jordin, Tristan, Emma, Jake, Jayden, Grace, Jackson and Logan. He is also survived by his siblings Francis, Angela, David, and many nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 7, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. in the Fraserwood Hall with viewing prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Fraserwood's Precious Blood Roman Catholic Church, Box 266, Gimli, MB R0C 1B0.
