NANCY JOAN COOPER 1956 - 2017 It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Nancy Cooper, after a brief but courageous battle with cancer. Nan recently retired from Seine River School Division in October 2017, where she worked as a payroll administrator for 20 years. She recently moved to Nanaimo, BC with her sister Susan, to embark on many new adventures. Nan was predeceased by her father Haydn Brisley and is survived by her mom Ethel Brisley; daughter Kelly Shannon and granddaughters, Adria and Kyra; son Richard Shannon and granddaughter Kayleigh; brothers, Paul (Gayle), Terry (Carol); sisters, Dianne and Susan; as well many relatives and friends who will miss her dearly. Nan had a kind heart and patient spirit with a great sense of humour you had to look out for. As per her request, a memorial will be held in her honour in Winnipeg, January 27, 2018 at the Transcona Legion 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. We will miss you little twisted one .....always in our hearts. Sands Funeral Chapel Nanaimo, BC

I was very saddened to hear of Nancy's passing. My thoughts and prayers to all her family. I have worked with Nancy in the same department for 7 years. She will be (and has been) dearly missed! Loved her quick wit and corny jokes! - Posted by: Arlene Soenen (co-worker) on: Dec 13, 2017
