Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJEANNE MARIE CHAMBERLIN (LEBAS) It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beautiful mother, Jeanne Chamberlin, of Winnipeg. Mom passed away peacefully, in her sleep, on November 25, 2017 at the Maples Personal Care Home in Winnipeg. She was born to Georges and Sidonie LeBas on September 15, 1919 in Ste. Rose du Lac. She married Charles Robert (Bob) Chamberlin (deceased) in June, 1941, and had four daughters, Barbara (Douglas, deceased) Gifford of Winnipeg, Marilyn (Terry) Boyd of Winnipeg, Leeanne (Louie Martinez) Sanchez of Espanola, New Mexico and Cathy Chamberlin of Bend, Oregon. She was predeceased by her five brothers and sisters Georgette, Cecile, Marie-Louise, Rene and Eugene. Mom also leaves behind her grandchildren Michael (Genevieve), Cameron (Ruth), Marlene (Andrew), Roberta (Gary), Gary Boyd, Daniel (Sarai) and Maleea Medina. Mom was also blessed with many wonderful great-grandchildren as well. Mom was a great world traveller and no one could keep her in one place for long. She lived part of her time in Palm Springs, California and there met Victor Martin (deceased) who became her second husband and travelling companion. She enjoyed playing bridge and reading as well as knitting and sewing. Mom had unwavering support and love from her family. We would like to thank her amazing caregivers at the Maples Personal Care Home who helped make her final days as peaceful as possible. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to an animal shelter of your choice. The family will be having a Celebration of Life at a later date.
