ALAN ROBERT TUCKER It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Alan on December 6, 2017 at the age of 66. Alan is survived by his son Cliff (Jodi), grandsons Austin and Connor, sister Jane (Don) Walters, nieces Jennifer (Jason) Reynolds (daughter Sabine), Elizabeth (David) Reynolds and nephew Robert (Laurel) Reynolds (daughters Calla and Juniper). He was predeceased by his parents Bob and Mary Tucker. He had recently retired after many years with the City of Winnipeg Forestry Department, a job he loved. In his spare time Al's passions were flying his remote control plane, cycling and paddling his beautiful hand-crafted canoe. Alan had many fond memories of time spent on the farm at Elva helping his Uncle George and summers spent at Lake Malachi. Highlights of the year for him were volunteering at Arbor Day and preparing the Forestry float for the Santa Claus parade. Alan was a kind, giving person - always willing to help his family and many friends whenever they needed him. We feel so blessed to have had him our lives. He will be sorely missed. There will be no funeral. Instead, a Celebration of Life is to be held on Tuesday, December 12, 2017 at Ft. Garry United Church, 800 Point Road from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to CancerCare Manitoba Foundation would be gratefully appreciated.

"Tucker" as I knew him, was a close friend to both my father Don & to my mom. I had known him my whole life. I have a couple of photos of Tucker in his canoe, and had hoped to pass them on to his family. It's been almost a year, Tucker you are so missed. RIP dear friend. - Posted by: Alisa Ouellette (friend) on: Nov 20, 2018
