On December 9, 2017, George passed away in his sleep at the age of 56 years. George was born in Winnipeg, MB and for many years lived in Portage la Prairie. In the recent years, he moved back to Winnipeg where he resided until his passing. George enjoyed playing his guitar, singing karaoke, laughing, and joking around. He was a huge Elvis Presley fan. He leaves to cherish his memories, his father Phil (Mary) Hayes, sisters, Barbara (Alcino) Ferreira, Gail Harper and Phyllis Hayes, brothers, Jimmy Hayes, Junior Hayes and Johnny Hayes, and also many nieces, nephews, great-nephews, great-nieces, aunties, uncles and numerous friends and cousins. Wake service at 1336 Main St. on Sunday, December 17 at 7:00 p.m. Memorial Service at 1336 Main St. on Monday, December 18 at 10:00 a.m. Interment at Brookeside Cemetery on December 20, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. Arrangements Entrusted To Sanderson Funeral Home in Winnipeg, MB.
