OLGA DEVISSER It is with deep sorrow that the family announces the passing of our beloved mother Olga DeVisser (nee Kuzma) on Wednesday, December 13, 2017, at the age of 84 years. Left to cherish her memory are her two sons Ronald DeVisser (Rhonda) and Harvey DeVisser (Cheryl), grandson Tyson DeVisser, great-grandson Parker DeVisser, granddaughter Brianna DeVisser, Mum's three sisters and brothers-in-law Jean Chura (Ernie), Angela Mary Haluska (Joseph), and Annette James (Lary-deceased), and many nieces and nephews. Olga was predeceased by her husband Harry Anthony DeVisser on May 26, 2012, aged 83, her oldest son Kenneth William DeVisser on December 13, 2005, Kenneth's wife Cheryl on December 21, 2009, Olga's father and mother, Andrew (1975) and Pauline (1980) Kuzma, brother William Kuzma (Larisa-deceased), brothers-in-law, John A. DeVisser (Elise-deceased), Robert DeVisser (Carol-deceased), and Lary James (Annette), and by Harry's parents, her mother and father-in-law, Laura (1945) and Harry DeVisser Sr. (1959). Mum was born on January 19, 1933 and lived her entire life in the Springfield district, receiving her education at North Springfield and Transcona Collegiate. Her first job was at Rayovac then Woolco and finally Regent Restaurant. She loved to fish and spend time at the cottage at Dorthy Lake, travel the countryside by car and go on trips to the mountains, but what she loved most was her family and spending time with them. Mum loved everyone and everyone loved her. The family would like to thank the home care workers, the nurses, doctors and staff at Seven Oaks Hospital (Dialysis Unit) for all their kindness, love and support, going above and beyond their professional duties to make Mum's life better. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 23, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Wheeler Funeral Home, 1800 Day Street, Winnipeg, MB. Viewing to take place one hour prior.
