Condolences & Memories (8 entries)

  • I just happened to stumble on this Passage. Robert Menziees sat beside me in a couple of classes at the University Of Winnipeg Collegiate in 1969-70 when we were in Grade 12. I remember him as such a nice guy. Many years ago in BC where I lived and had my career as a biologist I was watching The Rick Mercer show about the Morden Corn Fest and there he was. I meant to give him a call at his clinic to just say hello....but put it off. I wish I had. He told me when we were 17 that he was going to go into medicine and practice in Morden. Mission accomplished! Anyway....just wanted to acknowledge him as a wonderful young man back in Grade 12 and I am sure for his entire life. • When I lived in Morden back in 1976 Bobs father Dr Jim was my doctor. There was a time Dr Bob was in on one of my surgeries,I felt good knowing he was there His warmth was soothing. You knew he cared. There was a group if us who had children at the same time and we hung out together -good times or bad I know he will be missed by all who have had any contact with him. He is in a good place and that gives us some comfort . My condolensces - Posted by: Krystyna Bell(Wilson) (friend from long ago) on: Dec 26, 2017
