REV. DAVID LYALL CLINK September 3, 1920 December 22, 2017 Rev. David Lyall Clink went to be with his Lord and Saviour on Friday, December 22, 2017. Well done good and faithful servant. David was born on September 3, 1920 and raised in Barwick, Ontario. He was the oldest of five children. He was predeceased by his parents, Gordon and Hazel Clink, sister Lorraine, brother Bill and brother-in-law Norman. He is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Patricia, sister Joyce, sister-in-law Emily and brother Don (Jeannie). He is also survived by his stepchildren, Christopher Mayman (Joan), Mark Mayman (Cheryl), Janice Parmeter (Andrew Silk). Brenda Ossachuk (Mark), 14 grandchildren, 11 great- grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. David was a veteran of the Japanese war in the Aleutian Islands and the Second World War. He attended Providence Bible College, he was then ordained at Hilltop Baptist, he is a former Pastor of Grant Memorial Baptist, where he served from 1954 to 1973. He was also the Executive Director of the Central Baptist Conference. He worked for Kenora Family Children Services, and was a court Constable, where he retired a second time at the age of 75, he then finally retired at age 80 from the Ministry. Visitation will be held today, Thursday, December 28, 2017 from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home & Cremation Centre. Funeral service will be held on Friday, December 29, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Lakeside Baptist Church with Allan Dueck and Simon Cheung officiating. Pastor Clink was well loved at "All People's Church" in Falcon Lake MB. where he was the "Pastor- in- charge" since it's establishment also at East Braintree Church MB until his retirement.
