Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryKENNETH (JERGY) JORGENSON Ken passed away on Thursday, December 21, 2017, at the Lake of the Woods District Hospital, Kenora Ontario. He was born to Richard and Mildred Jorgenson at Whitemouth, MB. He leaves his wife Shirley and their four children, Dawn (Jim), Aaron (Allison), Janet (Sinclair), Dean (Joanne); seven grandchildren and ten great- grandchildren. Ken was predeceased by his parents; his in-laws and his beloved granddaughter Brianna. Ken was raised on the family farm at Whitemouth. He enjoyed the outdoors, many sports, especially baseball and hockey. He played ball until he was 55 years old and loved the camaraderie of his teammates. Ken worked at the paper mill in Kenora for over 36 years, retiring in 1992. Ken spent a lot of time at the farm and returned often, to help out. He found a special peace there. Ken was a quiet man, who loved spending time with his children and grandchildren. We will miss him. Thanks to the staff of 3 East, at the Lake of the Woods District hospital, C.C.A.C. people, Dr. Sara Coke, Dr. Brian Bowerman, grateful thanks to Dr. Murray Workman, for his care for Ken over the years. You all contributed to making Ken's journey and passing, peaceful. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Donations, to a charity of your choice, would be appreciated by the family.
