CAROL ADOLPHE
Born: Apr 02, 1950
Date of Passing: Dec 25, 2017
Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryCAROL ADOLPHE On the morning of Monday, December 25, 2017, Carol Adolphe passed away peacefully at Freeport Health Centre, Region of Waterloo, Ontario, at the age of 67 years. Carol was predeceased by her parents, Jacob and Edna Wiebe. She will be lovingly remembered by her daughter Jennifer Adolphe; son Scott Adolphe; brother Gord Wiebe; niece Laura Wiebe and nephew Jack Wiebe. Carol was born in Winnipeg on April 2, 1950, growing up in the River Heights area, and attended Balmoral Hall and Kelvin High School. After high school, she received a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Winnipeg and later a Bachelor of Education from the University of Manitoba. Although Carol had many passions, helping others achieve their potential was a common thread throughout her life. Whether it was serving as a neighbourhood Block Parent, substitute teaching in Fort Gary, organizing fundraisers at the Winnipeg Reh-Fit center, serving two terms as a school board trustee, or tutoring English for out-of-country university students and newly immigrated families, Carol instinctively looked for ways to help. In recent years, her drive to help extended to animals as she volunteered at horse rescue farms. Although a prairie girl at heart, the mountains called for her. During retirement she moved from Winnipeg to Canmore after a vacation there with her brother. A few years later, she moved to Waterloo, Ontario to be close to her son, followed by some time in Mission, BC to be near her daughter. Ultimately, she felt the pull of the mountains and returned to Alberta, living in Calgary for the past two years. Cremation has taken place and a celebration of life will be scheduled at a later date in Canmore, Alberta. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the Canadian Cancer Society, the Canadian Mental Health Association, or an educational organization of your choice. Condolences for the family may be arranged through the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King Street S., Waterloo at www.erbgood.com or 519-745-8445.

I don't know Carole but I understand the pain of losing dear loved ones in death no matter how long or well they have lived. May you find comfort in God’s promise at John 5: 28,29 - 'Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out…’ Imagine a time when no one will shed a single tear for pain anymore Revelation 21: 4, 5 - ‘‘Death will be no more, neither will mourning, nor outcry nor pain be anymore...' I wish you peace. - Posted by: Volunteer Sympathizer (Volunteer) on: Jan 24, 2018
