THELMA MAY MALLARD February 15, 1929 - December 23, 2017 With heavy hearts we sadly announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Thelma May Mallard, on Saturday, December 23, 2017, at the Grace Hospice at the age of 88. Thelma leaves to mourn her passing her son Bill (Vange), daughter Joy Bryson, daughter Joanne (Bill) Porter, son Gary (Lily); grandchildren Reagan, Jodie, Catherine, Ryan, Cris; great-grandchildren Dante, Xander, Kayden, Colton, Nathan; as well as brother Don Johnson; and sister Marge Carlson. Thelma was predeceased by her husband Ernie; her infant daughter Shirley Ann; parents Carl and Ada Johnson; her sister Irene Mundt; her brothers Arthur, Carl and Con Johnson, as well as numerous other family members. Funeral Service will be held at Windsor Park United Church, 1062 Autumnwood Drive, on Friday, January 12, 2018, at 2:00 p.m. with Minister Patrick Woodbeck officiating. Special thank you to the wonderful staff at Grace Hospice, the Palliative Care staff at St. Boniface Hospital and the Palliative Care nurses who visited her over this past year at home.
