DOROTHY ANN BLAIR May 16, 1921 - December 26, 2017 Suddenly after a brief illness at Meadowood Manor, Dorothy Blair peacefully passed away on December 26, 2017. She is predeceased by her husband Tom, in 2008 and will be sadly missed by her son Marcel (Gisele); grandsons, Joe (Teresa), T.J. (Ida Sawabe); great-granddaughters, Teagan and Lily. Many thanks to Lil Kooman for her visits and support. As well as a special thank you to the many caregivers who supported mom in the years prior to PCH placement. The caring staff at both Misericordia and Meadowood Manor helped with her difficult transition from independence to 24 hour care. The compassion and empathy our family received in her last days was incredible. You are a very special group of people. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Meadowood Manor or Transcona Legion Ladies Auxiliary which was a large part of her life. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will take place at the Transcona Legion, Thursday, January 4, 2018 at 12:00 noon. May you rest in peace.
