Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARIA DA GLORIA FURTADO April 4, 1934 - January 2, 2018 Gloria passed away at Calvary Place Personal Care Home, at the age of 83 years. She was born in Azores and was predeceased by her parents Jacinto Furtado Verissimo and Margarida da Luz Duarte, and her husband Joao Almeida Frizado. Gloria's memory will be forever cherished by her daughter Lucia Frizado, son Joao (Jacqueline) Frizado and two grandsons Victor Medeiros and Eric Frizado. She is survived by her sisters, Margarida (Francisco) Raposo in Winnipeg, Deolinda Duarte in Azores, Escolastica (Jose) Furtado, Rosalina (Jose) Cabral and Genevieve (Joao) Furtado, all from London, Ontario, and several nieces and nephews, and family friends both in Canada and Azores. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, January 6, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church, 181 Austin St. N. with visitation at 9:30 a.m. Interment to follow at Assumption Cemetery at 3990 Portage Ave. Gloria was faithful in prayer and, in lieu of flowers, would appreciate donations to the Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church in her memory.

Prayers will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, January 6, 2018 at Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church, 181 Austin St. N., immediately followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. Funeral arrangements through Cropo Funeral Chapel.
