RONALD BILL ANDRYKOW
Born: Jan 01, 1942
Date of Passing: Dec 30, 2017
Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryRONALD BILL ANDRYKOW January 1, 1942 - December 30, 2017 With heavy hearts and tremendous sadness we said goodbye to Ron on Saturday, December 30, 2017. Ron passed away peacefully at Concordia Hospital, at the age of 75 years. He was predeceased by his parents, Mike and Olive Andrykow. He will be lovingly remembered by his loving wife Jackie, daughter Shannon Mazur and son-in-law Randy, granddaughter Alexandra, the light of his life great-grandson Lachlan, brother Garry Andrykow and sister-in-law Joyce, niece Denise Joshi, husband Deepak, great-nephews Branden and Jarod, cousin Bobby and wife Gayle, along with many great friends and extended family. Also known as "Bartkow", "Bucko" and "Ronnie Billy" loved dressing to the nines and going dancing with Jackie by his side. Whether it was at the night club back in the day or at 141 Legion, Dad was the first on the dance floor. Dad also had a way of telling a good story, if something were to go wrong, it would happen to him (a gallon of paint spilling on the bus or the ants drinking his whiskey). He always made people laugh while telling a story and there were a lot of good Ronnie stories to tell. Dad was a very hard worker and spent many years working at Victoria Leather and then moved onto St. Boniface Hospital where he retired a few years ago. Everyone knew Ronnie, he was a unique man that had a heart of gold. Everywhere he went he made friends. Later in life Dad was happy playing bingo or going to the meat draw at the Legion with his friends, but most of all spending time with his beloved family. Dad, there won't be a day that will go by that we won't think about you and miss you. You were a great husband, father, brother, gigi, great gigi, father-in-law, uncle and best friend to many people. We all know you are not suffering with the pain in your legs or back any longer. You will be missed tremendously but we all know you are at peace and you are now with your beloved mom, dancing in the heavens above. Heaven has gained the best dresser, dancer and best cleaner. The family would like to send their heartfelt thanks to the doctors and nurses at Concordia Hospital who all did an amazing job taking care of Dad. As per Dad's wishes there will be no funeral service, instead a private family gathering and cremation will take place. I am sure when the Lord's hand touched yours and guided you home that your eyes opened wide, your legs grew strong, your lungs filled with air and your heart overflowed with love. You are free! Love you, Jackie.

My condolences to the family. Ronnie was a lifelong friend of my husband Ralph. I met Ronnie in 1960 he was an usher at our wedding, we didn’t see a lot of the old friends but always heard the old stories. He always spoke of family when we did bump into each other so we appreciate the old memories. Dianne Kammerlock - Posted by: Dianne kammerlock (Friend) on: Jan 06, 2018
