Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryCATHERINE MARY CAMERON (AKA: SPIRITUAL CATHIE) With broken hearts we announce the passing of our beloved mother. Surrounded by her family, Cathie passed gracefully on Sunday, December 31, 2017. Cathie will be greatly missed by her children Kirstie and Andrew, their partners Clint and Cheryl; grandchildren Aidan and Noah; niece Alexis; nephew Glenn and their children, and her extended family of Dan and Gayle, Peter, and her roomie Shirley. She was predeceased by her mother Esther Cameron; father John Cameron; granddaughter Grace Mary; sister Elizabeth Cameron, and nephew Kevin Hargreaves. On June 2, 1948 Cathie was born in Winnipeg. She grew up in Charleswood, attending Royal and Charleswood Schools. She attended Commercial College, began working as a secretary and spent a large portion of her career working in the Small Claims Court. After retirement, Cathie moved out to Winnipeg Beach, fulfilling her dream and enjoying many peaceful moments by the water with her dog Max. She moved back to Winnipeg to be closer to her family and began working in home care, she loved to serve and did so until her last few days on Earth. Cathie will always be remembered for her kindness, contagious smile, comforting hugs and eternal optimism. A celebration of Cathie's life will be held on Monday, January 8, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. in Charleswood United Church, 4820 Roblin Boulevard. I would like to offer my condolences to all of Cathy’s family and friends. Cathy and I both worked at comforts of home and had a mutual client. I only meet her a few times, I found her to be a lovely compassionate person.
