GARRY KOHUCH In loving memory of Garry Kohuch, who was born on December 17, 1955, and who passed away 30 years ago, on January 12, 1988. "Destiny itself is like a wonderful wide tapestry in which every thread is guided by an unspeakable tender hand, placed beside another thread and held and carried by a hundred others." - Rainer Maria Rilke We cannot believe it has been thirty years now, since you passed away and left our world as a shooting star whose brilliance was utterly amazing but fleeting. In all you did, you shone brightly. You were the best teacher ever. You were an extremely talented dancer and choreographer. You had a beautiful voice and were able to inspire other voices to sing in harmony. You were incredibly smart perhaps partly due to your voracious reading habits. You were the most patient, caring and compassionate soul. You were the best listener. You had an eye for beauty and you captured it on film. You had a deep well of creativity in you and it never ran dry. You were so much fun. You were remarkably witty and had a marvelous sense of humour. You loved spending time over a cup of tea or coffee. You were a beloved son, brother, uncle, cousin, nephew and friend. When you left us, our grief was unspeakable, really. Today, we can speak with much gratitude about what you meant to us and we know, now more than ever, how blessed we were to have you as an integral thread in the fabric of our lives. Our tapestry is rich and you will forever be a part of it. We miss you so much and always think of you, Garry, whenever we see a sunshower: happy, yet tears. Vichnaya Pamyat. May Your Memory Be Eternal - The Kohuch family "How lucky I am to have something that makes saying goodbye so hard." Winnie-the-Pooh /A.A. Milne
