CHARLES SCHICK 1935 - 2018 Charles Clinton Schick, aged 82, passed away peacefully on January 6, 2018 at the Grace Hospice after a long battle with cancer. He was born November 27, 1935 in Edmonton to Marion and Bill Schick. Chuck is survived by his beloved wife, Margaret; children, Colleen, Clint, Karin and Don; seven loving grandchildren and sister, Sandra Litwin. Chuck will always be remembered for his limitless optimism for life delivered through a ready smile, great dimples and that sparkle in his eye. He had a long and successful career with Kipp Kelly Ltd., and later with ABD Distributors which preceded many years of active retirement with Marg split between Mesa, Arizona, their cherished Kenora cottage and travels to spend time with family and friends across Canada and Europe. Chuck was an avid sportsman, with a particular love for fishing, and hockey - coaching and managing in St. James for many years. Winnipeg River Walleye will rest just a little bit easier now! Chuck was surrounded by family, and his many friends throughout his illness, and we wish to thank the Grace Hospital and Hospice for their compassion and extraordinary care. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Grace Hospice via: https://www.gracehospitalfoundation.ca/ memorial-donations/ A memorial service will be announced this coming spring to allow friends and family to come together in celebration of this good man's life.

  • I will always remember Charlie's ready and bright smile. He always made sure to stop in and see Mom and Dad when he was anywhere near Killarney. That meant a lot to them. - Posted by: Leslie Udell (Cousin) on: Jan 13, 2018
