DAISY MARY ORR (nee WILLIAMS) May 30, 1918 - December 30, 2017 On Saturday, December 30, 2017, at the age of 99 years, Daisy Orr passed peacefully into the presence of her Heavenly Father. She had longed to go "home" for many years, and now she's there! Left to fondly remember Daisy are her family, along with many dear friends. She was predeceased by her husband Bill; parents, Ernie and Clara; and brothers, Reg, Alf, Don and Jim. Daisy was known for her kind and loving spirit, her generosity, her strong Christian faith, her sharp wit, and her determination and resolve with any task she undertook. Daisy was a longtime resident of St. James. In later life, she resided for many years at Metropolitan Kiwanis Courts where she was an enthusiastic participant in the many activities offered there. She especially enjoyed the garden, and won many ribbons at the local horticultural fair. More recently, Daisy resided at West Park Manor in Charleswood. Many thanks to the caring staff members at both Kiwanis and West Park. A celebration of Daisy's life will be held on Saturday, February 17, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Charleswood Community Church, 760 Charleswood Road, Winnipeg.
