Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemorySHEILA JOHNSON October 22, 1931 - November 19, 2017 Peacefully, quietly and at home, with her dear son at her side, my beloved mother Sheila Johnson passed away. She was 86. Over the last few years, Mom suffered from the on and off, but debilitating effects of dementia and Alzheimer's disease. Mom, the pain and suffering are over. You can now and forever rest in peace and tranquility. A funeral service was held at St. John XXIII Roman Catholic Church, 3390 Portage Avenue on Thursday, January 4, 2018 at 1:30 p.m. Father Robert Polz officiated. Interment followed at Assumption Cemetery. A reception followed. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, Alzheimer Society, Canadian Cancer Society, or any charity of one's choice.
