KIMBERLY DAWN LODON It is with great sadness Kim's family announces her passing on January 14, 2018, at the age of 57 years. Kim will be lovingly remembered by her son Cameron; brother Dwayne; brother Daniel (Michelle); nieces, Kaitlyn and Lainey; and nephews, Jared and Rustyn. Kim was predeceased by her mother Jean; father Donald; grandparents, Cornelia and Daniel Davidson, and Margaret and Michael Lodon. Kim graduated from St. John's High School in 1979. From there she attended Red River Community College graduating from business. After college Kim started work at Bristol Aerospace in the Payroll Department, she worked there for 25 years. She has worked for Motor Coach and Kitchen Craft and finally settled at Postmedia where she worked as Payroll Manager. Throughout her career she developed lasting relationships with many of her co-workers. She was very knowledgeable in her career, always striving to better herself. She never was one to back down from a challenge - no matter how large the task. She held many volunteer positions on several boards in her area. She enjoyed walks with her dog, Memphis; going to the lake weekends and spending her holidays. The family would like to thank CancerCare Manitoba and the Health Sciences Centre for making Kim comfortable in her last days. In compliance with Kim's wishes cremation has taken place. It's hard to forget someone who gave you so much to remember! In lieu of flowers, make donations to CancerCare Manitoba or the Winnipeg Humane Society.
