Condolences & Memories (8 entries)

  • So sorry to hear of the loss of your mother. Simon’s mom Rita Trudeau, was very fond of Toni and the time they got to spend together at the nursing home. Was very surprised that you failed to mention that she was pre deceased by her husband Peter and her only son Rene. She also left behind her grandchildren Chantale and Peter and their children, Ryder, Logan, Tristan, Willow and Ledger. She will truly be missed by all. - Posted by: Simon and Loraine Trudeau () on: Jan 25, 2018

  • Tony was such a special lady. I had not seen much in recent years. She always made me feel so special and she listened. She had such a strong faith and her beautiful smile. I will always remember her. My sincere condolences to JoAnn and Sharon Gerry Lynn Richard - Posted by: Gerry Lynn Richard (Friend) on: Jan 23, 2018

  • I have many fond memories of visiting ma tante Toni throughout the years. Mom and I would take the well worn path between their homes and visit in her "doll house" as she called it. After she moved to Winnipeg, we would visit her when I took Mom shopping in the city. I always felt special and treasured when we spent time with her. I was able to visit with her on the 12th of this month. It was a very special time! We held hands and visited for about 1/2 an hour. I tried to keep it together, but at one time I got a little teary and she comforted me. She was such an amazing woman! I had the privilege of praying the Lord's Prayer with her before I left. God puts us into families, but sometimes we are blessed with extra "relatives". Ma Tante Toni was one of those extra blessings in my life. I will miss her dearly! The Lord bless you and keep you, JoAnn and Sharon. The Lord make His face shine upon you and grant you peace. - Posted by: Nichole Strempler (Precourt) () on: Jan 22, 2018

  • Toni was a wonderful, generous lady. I have fond memories, of Sat morning breakfasts when we cross country ski'd to her place. Her yard was adorned with beautiful flowers. Rest in peace. - Posted by: Joretta Robidoux (Dufresne) () on: Jan 20, 2018

  • JoAnn and Sharon: My heartfelt sympathies on the loss of your Mom. Auntie Toni was like a second Mom for me during my early years when my Mom and Dad worked. I remember staying at your house during the week and went home on weekends. We took the fancy Breland bus to school. Auntie would lay with me during the night with my ear infection pains. She was also our hairdresser and I remember when she did not want to cut my hair pixie style like my Mom wanted. It took awhile to talk her into doing that to me, I think I liked it. Sharon and I would always raid the gardens for rhubarb, carrots, gooseberries and crabapples or was it plums. Auntie was the flower Queen. Always had perfectly groomed flower gardens. She was a very special lady. We will all miss her. - Posted by: Diane Robidoux (Niece) on: Jan 20, 2018
