BRETT ALLAN TORGERSON It is with deep sadness in our hearts that we regret to announce the passing of Brett Allan Torgerson, age 47 of Winnipeg, on the evening of January 18, 2018 at Concordia Hospital, surrounded by family and friends. He is survived by his father Carl and his siblings, Brent, Janice, Carla (Wayne), Brad and Patricia. Brett was predeceased by his mother Darlene Patricia Torgerson. Brett was truly a gift to the world, not expected to live past his first year of life. For the next 47 years he enriched the lives of all those he encountered. The family thanks all the people who have made Brett's exciting life a lively one. We invite all those people who Brett has touched in some way to join the family in a celebration of life on Wednesday, January 24 at the Henderson Highway Legion #215, Canuck Hall, located at 3600 de Vries Ave (Henderson Highway and the Perimeter Highway). The service will commence at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to S.P.I.K.E. (Special People in Kildonan East Inc.) RPO North Kildonan, PO Box 28029, Winnipeg, Manitoba R2G 4E9. www.voyagefuneralhome.com

  • Brett was one of the first people with disabilities that I ever worked with. He taught me patience, a sense of humor and what was really important in life. I remember the concern he showed for everyone and his asking, Is she ok? He had a kind heart and I will miss him flirting with everyone. - Posted by: Sandy Kelly () on: Jan 22, 2018
