Laura was kind, caring, and generous to her friends. She gave her time without expecting anything in return. She was a true gift to this world. She will be missed. Our hearts are breaking for her family. A gorgeous soul taken far to soon. - Posted by: Judie and Wayne Oldfield (Friend) on: Jan 28, 2018

Even though I know you are gone it just does not seem real. How can it be possible that I will never see your beautiful face and hear your infectious giggle again? My heart is shattered but it is mostly broken for your precious and amazing mother who should never have had to know the pain of losing you. Your mother raised exceptional children and your brothers are the epitome of what a kind and decent man should be. Darren and your children are devastated and there are no words I can say to anyone who is loving you and missing you so much that is going to make them feel any better. Your mother gave us the most beautiful gift in the world and that is you. I am so extremely grateful to her for bringing you into my life. I have a lifetime of wonderful memories of you and one day that is going to make things feel better. However, this day is filled with deep sorrow and longing for someone who was everything and is still everything too so many. Life is never going to be the same without you. How could it be? You were so incredible in every single way and the grief I feel from losing you is worth it because if I had to do this all over again I would not change a thing. You are worth every tear, every ounce of pain, every broken heart because the joy and love you brought into my life outweighs every minute of sorrow. - Posted by: WendyBowcott (Stepmom) on: Jan 25, 2018

I sat beside this wonderful woman when we were in broadcasting school 20 years ago. She lit up the room with her smile and positive energy, and we would laugh constantly. A very talented artist, she would absently draw and doodle during class and think nothing of it, even when something she'd drawn was strikingly good. Our contact since then was more limited, but at every encounter her brilliant smile was present. She was a beauty, she was loved, and I miss her. - Posted by: Barry Janzen (College friend ) on: Jan 24, 2018
