Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryDIANE GLORIA KENNEDY January 13, 1942 - January 16, 2018 With deep sadness we announce the sudden passing of Diane Gloria Kennedy on Tuesday, January 16, 2018. Diane will be deeply missed by her sons: Ted (Lucille) and Allan (Donna), grandchildren: Aaron Slobodian, Kandice Kennedy and Chelsey Kennedy, five great-grandchildren, brother Brian Turcotte (Tracy), sister Shirley Zubko (Vern), sister-in-law Judy, niece and nephews: Lisa, Jason, Clint and Edmond. Diane was predeceased by her parents Katherine and Edmond Turcotte, brother Edmund Turcotte, and her son Tom Kennedy. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 27 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 937 Gateway Rd., Winnipeg. Private family interment to be held at a later date. Sad to hear about Diane. She was in my congregation in the mid 1970s and enjoyed her hospitality and sense of humor. I knew her family and remember her working hard to be a good provider while she raised three boys by herself. I have many memories visiting the boys at her Anderson St. home. She had a poodle that ran all over the house when I visited, she would barbecue a steak dinner and afterward I would go home riding through peanut park often at night peddling as fast as I could.
