Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryGEERTRUDA SCHOUTEN On January 10, 2018, Mother, Oma, Great-Oma, Geertruda Schouten passed through where earth meets heaven into the arms of her beloved husband Jan Schouten (predeceased). Her quiet strength, loving soul and giving spirit brought much love to her family and friends throughout the years. She will be forever missed by her children Cornelis Schouten (Jeanine), Jan Schouten (Sam), Maria Dick (Glenn), as well as grandchildren, great-grandchildren and others that called her "Mom". At Geertruda's request there will be no visitation or service, a private family burial has been planned. Those we love don't go away, they walk beside us every day, Unseen, unheard, but always near Still loved, still missed and very dear.
