Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemorySUSAN ELIZABETH PION January 7, 1964 - January 6, 2018 Our daughter, Susan was born at the St. Boniface Hospital and lived in Winnipeg prior to moving to Vancouver, BC in 1984. Sadly Susan passed away at the Surrey Memorial Hospital, with her family by her side. Susan is survived by her daughter Aimee Shura (Kyle); grandchildren Olive and Theo; mother Shirley (Pion) Whyte (Gary); brothers Richard Saxony, Gerry Pion (Joan), Geoff Pion; sister Cathy (Pion) Schenkeveld, many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by father Joseph Pion, and grandmother Mary Saxony. Cremation has taken place, no formal service as requested. Donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association. It broke our hearts to lose you, you did not go alone. Part of us went with you, the day God called you home. We love you Susan

I am already missing our monthly visit to Denny's for eggs benedict. You had so many physical and mental challenges in the last few years but you never stopped caring for others. How many times did I bring you to the food bank only to watch you come out with bags of food for other people instead of yourself? Your heart was always kind but your body was weak.
