PATRICIA ARROWSMITH 1932 - 2018 It is with a sad heart that we wish to announce the passing of Pat on January 16, 2018. She was born in Winnipeg and grew up on Ross Avenue with her brothers Bill, Bob, Glen (Lily), Hughey (Wilma), Bruce (Jeannie), and her sister Isabel. She will be missed by her many nieces and nephews and their families. Left to mourn are her husband Bob and daughters Sharon (Gerry), Arlene (Dave) and Jody (Ivan). Pat loved them all, but most of all she loved her grandchildren Cheryl, Ian (Anciska), Adam (Kimberley), Dean (Karlene) and Jenna (Tom). When the great-grandchildren came along they were the lights that shone the brightest. Pat loved all sports, played baseball with the Tigerettes, bowled with the senior ladies representing Manitoba in the Provincials in 1976, and played many rounds of golf with her friends Olive, Elsie, Lois and Bev. She was a regular at the bingo hall and loved the slots at the casino. Pat was a long-time member at the Fort Rouge Legion, Branch 252. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her. A celebration of her life will be held at the South Osborne Legion, 426 Osborne St. on Saturday, February 17, 2018 between the hours of 1:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. for those who wish to pay their respects. Family and friends may sign a Book of Condolence at Glen Lawn Funeral Home 204-982-7550

Condolences & Memories (1 entries)

  • When I last met Auntie Pat, I thought her to be a tough gal and said what she thought with a sparkle in her eyes. I am so glad that Auntie Pat had Bob, their family, Auntie Isabel and her family to be with and enjoy her life with. When I met Auntie Pat after many years I couldn't believe how much she looked like her dad. (grampa) Anyway, a sad day and days to come. May you all continue with Pat's spirit. My condolences and hugs are sent your way from me. Jill - Posted by: Jill Palmer nee McWhinney (niece) on: Jan 29, 2018
