TIM RICHARDSON February 21, 1950 - January 17, 2018 Tim Richardson died in the arms of his life partner, Laura McQuillan. He loved and was loved by his sisters, Judith (Jude) Richardson (Mike), Laurie (Kooch) Trevithick, and Janice Richardson nee Koga (Ross), as well as his brothers, Dan (Evie), Mike, and brother-in-law Jim McQuillan. In his heart were his nephews, nieces and friends. Tim was predeceased by his father John Ross (Jack), mother Loretta, his sisters, Mary Linda and Catherine in infancy, and his big brother Ross. Tim celebrated risk and challenge. A passion for music and sound led him from playing in bands, to recording studios, radio, TV (2 Emmys) and film. Adventurous, he forayed into fish hatchery work and later, boot making, but always returned to sound. Music, reading, art, quirky humour, and debate brought him pleasure. A perfect evening: jazz, a fire, wine, a purring cat and conversation. A good life lived. Respecting Tim's wishes, there will be no service. Instead, raise a glass and toast his life.
