Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryHELENA DICKSON PATON (nee GUY) Helena Dickson Paton (nee Guy) passed away peacefully on January 23, 2018 in White Rock, BC, where she has lived for 45 years. Helena is predeceased by husband Tom Paton in 1996. Surviving Helena, son David Guy (Sue), Calgary, daughter Louise, White Rock; grandchildren, Sarah Perrin (Rob), Graeme Paton (Britney) in Calgary; great-grandchildren, Ben and Rory Perrin, Sam Paton; special sister-in-law Nora Paton and special brother-in-law David Paton (Wendy) in Kenora. Helena was born in Cherhill, AB, November 3, 1923. She moved to Kenora in 1945 to live with her Aunt and Uncle Moshier. Helena met Tom after the war, married in December, 1947 and moved to Winnipeg where they lived for 26 years. In Winnipeg, Helena was an accomplished curler and avid golfer. Helena and Tom moved to White Rock in 1973, retired in 1980 to golf and be snowbirds. A very fine life with wonderful friends. Dear Mom from Gus and I, you are in our hearts forever and we trust you are flying with Dad. Love. Our gratitude and thanks to Dr. David Anderson, the care staff at both Crescent Gardens and The Residence at Morgan Heights. A family Celebration of Life will be held in Calgary this summer.
