Father Herman Falke and I met at the church of Joan of Arc in Toronto and I bought one of his sculptures: the three men on the cross. I have fond memories of this amazing artist. He is now with the Lord and at peace. - Posted by: Lydia van pelt (Artist friend) on: May 12, 2020

I moved to 171 Daly in January 2020. Just today I realized, I’m across the street from where he lived in Ottawa. I knocked, but it wasn’t meant to be. I remembered with respect that I should have called first. Loved that man . Fr. Falke was my parish priest and I was one of his many fan followers aka alter server, back in the 80’s at a small church in Ottawa called St. Monica’s. I still have and loving display each year, a Christmas tree ornament he sculpted for the servers as a gift for each of us one year. He was a very kind and gentle man.
