DONALD STEWART CASSELS April 25, 1933 - January 21, 2018 On Sunday, January 21, 2018, Donald Cassels, aged 84, passed away peacefully at St. Boniface Hospital. Left to mourn his loss are wife Geri, his sons, David (Janet and daughters, Claire and Lauren), Pete (Jolaine) and grandchildren, Aaron and Jade; nieces, Earla, Leigh-Ann (predeceased); and nephews, Bruce and Allan. Don was predeceased by his father David; mother Mary; brother Earl (survived by wife Joey). Dad also cherished the time he spent with his friends, Dave, Reggie and Marlene. Special thanks to the staff on the 4th floor at Health Sciences Centre, also to staff on the palliative care ward at St. Boniface Hospital and to our family and friends for their loving care and support. Dad loved gardening, visiting the public library on a weekly basis and meeting his friends at The Forks for coffee. Cremation has taken place and a private family service will be held in the spring. In lieu of flowers, donations in Don's memory may be made to The Winnipeg Humane Society.

My deepest condolences go out the Cassels's family, I have known Don for many, many years as Union Brother and Friend.
