Condolences & Memories (1 entries)

  • To Dallas and the boys, we wanted to say how sorry we are to hear of Tony’s passing. Our families go back to the 40’s when my dad Ken played fiddle with Gene Dumas’ band. I was one of Tony’s ‘Boys’ in the early 80’s and have wonderful memories of playing and hanging out with Tony at legions all around Winnipeg. He played that big accordion through an old Leslie amp and Dallas would have to stand on his back after gigs to stretch him out. He closed each show with “... and remember if you’re going to drive home, make sure you have a car” which never failed to crack us up. Tony was a wonderful man and a truly a great spirit. Our thoughts are with all his family. - Posted by: Dwight and Sue Peters (Friends) on: Feb 10, 2018
