Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARSHALL L. WILDER Marshall passed away peacefully December 11, 2017, surrounded by his family. Predeceased by his beloved wife Phyllis, he leaves his children Leslie, David and Diane, grandchildren Shira, Curtis, Tovah and Mark, great-grandchildren, Aaron, Anthony, Amira, Tyson and Kylon to treasure his memory. He will also be lovingly remembered by his sister Phyllis (Sanford) Brody, sister-in-law Lillian Neaman (Doug Skoog),cousin Roberta Hurtig, and special friends Lily, Jorge and Tommy Feldman and Easton Lexier. Nothing was more important to Marshall than the special bond he had with all of his family. He took so much pleasure in the accomplishments and endeavours of each, delighting in listening to their adventures. Marshall's long and successful career with Chanel Paris earned him the admiration and respect from all who had the privilege of working with him. He balanced his work life with his years of devoted volunteerism with the Shaarey Zedek Synagogue, Jewish Heritage Centre of Western Canada, Jewish Child and Family Services, and Journey's Literacy. In spite of the physical challenges of his last years he faced the world with unparalleled hope and optimism. The family is appreciative of the kindness shown to Marshall by Livie and Donnie, his care givers for the past few years. Pallbearers were Rabbi Anibal Mass, Jack Hurtig, Curtis Scammell, Jorge Feldman, Walter Greiner, and Alan Friedman. Honorary Pallbearers were Easton Lexier, Arthur Arkin, and Martin Brody. Donations in Marshall's memory would be appreciated to Jewish Heritage Centre of Western Canada, Jewish Child and Family Services, Shaarey Zedek Synagogue, or the charity of your choice.
