Born: Sep 06, 1967
Date of Passing: Dec 17, 2017
Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemorySANDRA MARIE WEETMAN KUSIE September 6, 1967 - December 17, 2017 After a brief illness, peacefully at home with her husband by her side. A very special thank you to Sandi's sisters, Sara and Theresa, for their support, caring, and sacrifice during her ordeal; and to Reverend Father Taras Kowch for administering the Last Rites to Sandi while in hospital. Sandi was predeceased by her youngest son Mitchell, sister Jennifer Hunt, and birth father Roderick Henry. Born in Regina, Sandi was adopted on December 22, 1967 by Richard and Dorothy Weetman and came to live with them on the family farm near Swift Current, SK. From an early age she learned the values of hard work and love of family. Sandi found great joy in gardening, cooking, and making life better for others. Sandi moved to Winnipeg in 2003 and was employed by Comspan Inc., where her commitment, compassion, and love for her clients and co-workers shone like the brightest star. Left to forever cherish her memory are her loving husband Ted Kusie; children Sheena (Ryan) Hansford and Ryan Denis; parents Richard and Dorothy Weetman, siblings Christopher, Lee (Jerry) Funk and Sara (Theresa), nieces Nicole, Amy and Rebecca, cousins Scott and Deanna; stepsons Stefan, Daniel and Michael; birth mother Barbara and sisters Donna, Pam, and Bonnie; the Henry family Kokums, aunts, uncles, and cousins; special friends Sue Ward, Alyssa Henault and Destiny Bailey, and so many more too numerous to mention. According to Sandi's wishes there will be no funeral. A memorial celebration was held in Swift Current on December 23, 2017. Further celebrations of Sandi's life are being planned. Rest in peace my sweetheart, my love.
