Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryNORAH ELEANOR ROBINSON (GIBSON) Peacefully at Health Sciences Centre on January 25, 2018, Norah Robinson (nee Gibson), aged 93 years, passed away after a brief illness. Norah was born in Winnipeg on February 24, 1924, and grew up in the St. Vital community. She married Bill Robinson on April 18, 1952, and celebrated 28 happy years together before Bill passed away in 1980. Norah is survived by her brother Walter Gibson (Victoria, BC), as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents Nelson and Mabel Gibson, and her brothers William and Leslie. Norah was a lifelong member of the Salvation Army and continued to attend services until her health recently declined. After retirement from her Administrative Services position with the Salvation Army Divisional Headquarters Office in Winnipeg, Norah enjoyed many years travelling and spending time with her friends, especially her dear friends, Margaret Mills and Dale Sancan. At her request, no formal service will take place, and flowers are gratefully declined. If friends so desire, a donation may be made to the Missionary Group or Songsters of the Living Hope Community Church of the Salvation Army, 51 Morrow Avenue, Winnipeg, MB. Norah was a kind, faithful and caring woman and was loved and admired by all who knew her. She will be sadly missed.
