Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJOAN MARILYN CRAIG July 18, 1936 - January 29, 2018 It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Joan Marilyn Craig on January 29, 2018 at the age of 81 years. Joan was born in Kaleida, Manitoba and as a young girl, moved to Winnipeg with her mother. Joan was full of life and enjoyed many hobbies, but none more than spending time with her family and friends. Always cheerful, she never let her many eventual health challenges keep her from embracing life. Joan never gave up, moving to Calgary to be closer to family, where she also made new friends at Lake Bonavista Village. Thank you to the staff and residents there for the friendship and devoted care you provided to Joan when she always needed it. Joan will be forever loved by her sons, Randy (Kathy), Doug and Jeff (Pam); and granddaughter Brittany. She was predeceased by her loving husband James (1995). Cremation will take place in Calgary and service be held this June in Winnipeg. We dearly love and miss you Mom and know you are now resting peacefully. Photos, memories and condolences may be shared with Joan's family through www.evanjstrong.com
