Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARGERY MAE HARPER (VIZNAUGH) May 11, 1930 January 30, 2018 Loving Mother, Grandmother, Great-Grandmother, Sister, Aunt and Friend Tuesday, January 30, 2018 at 2:30 p.m. Mom took her last breath and entered Heaven straight into the arms of her love, Charles. They are now together where they have longed to be with their Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Mom is survived by her children Dave (Debbie), Charles, Karen, Gail (Jeff), Kurt (Janice), Deanne (Todd), Lana and Darren, 15 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. Mom was the oldest of 12 siblings. Mom grew up in Stony Point, Manitoba where she met Dad. They married, moved to Winnipeg and added six more children to the family. She was a stay at home Mom until 1967 when she started her working career at Canadian Nazarene College as their cook. She touched many lives of the students who lovingly referred to her as "Ma Harper". She also spent many years working for Integ Foods as a Food Service Manager at Kiwanis Centre for the Deaf. Here she met her best friend, Saundra who had a huge impact on her life. Mom retired from her working career in 1991 and opened Granny's Daycare for some of her grandchildren. In their retirement mom and dad enjoyed each other, family gatherings, baseball, and walks. Mom was the best cook and loved to entertain. We often would meet for meals even if we weren't invited! Christmas Eve was a special time for our family. There will be a private family viewing. A Celebration of Life will be held February 10, 2018 at Kilcona Park Alliance Church 1977 Norris Road (off Lagimodiere) at 2:00 p.m. Reception to follow. Thanks to Dr. St Goddard from Palliative Care Manitoba, for his compassionate care. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to your favorite charity.
