Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryLOUISE M. BOVET (BROWN) March 22, 1934 - January 28, 2018 Louise was born in Brock, Saskatchewan and later lived in McGregor, Manitoba. After graduating high school Louise taught school for one year before moving to Winnipeg to attend Business College. Upon graduation she began working at Canadian Pacific Railway where she worked for 35 years, retiring in 1989. She made lifelong friends while at the CPR that included her future husband Edward (Ted) Bovet. Louise and Ted were married in September 1957 and spent their entire careers at the CPR living in Montreal and Vancouver. Ted passed away in November 2006, just short of their 50th anniversary. Louise was also predeceased by her parents Olive and Clarence Brown, her sister Joyce Johnson, and her brother Murray Brown. She is survived by her nephews Earl Johnson (Ruth), Ottawa, and Donald Brown (Valerie), Victoria. Louise will be missed by her many friends and neighbours including Jim and Joan Harris and family, Valerie Young and family, Yvonne Thompson, Myra and Dave Hutchison and family, Myra Frampton, and especially Lorraine and Bert Kirkham and family. Louise, a gifted seamstress, was also active in the Lions Gate Quilters Guild and for many years enjoyed Scottish dancing. Special thanks to the Lion's Gate Hospital 6th Floor East for their exceptional care. A memorial service followed by a reception will be held in the Foreman Room of the Boal Chapel, 1505 Lillooet Road, North Vancouver, BC on Thursday, February 8, 2018 at 2:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
